Power Reserve Indicator
Date Indicator, Center Seconds
In 1988, Chopard became the official timekeeper of the famed Mille Miglia race, issuing the very first Mille Miglia Race Edition, an annual special edition watch reserved exclusively for the race’s participants until its commercialisation in 1997. Twenty-seven years on, the 2015 edition keeps the tradition alive in stunning fashion. With a case crafted from robust stainless steel and a calfskin strap, the timepiece features an instantly recognisable Rossa corsa dial, Italy’s traditional colour in the world of motor racing in a limited edition of 1000 pieces. Equipped with a date aperture integrated into the Mille Miglia arrow at 3 o’clock and a power reserve indicator at 9 o’clock, the dial’s silver-finish black hands allow for maximum readability of the seconds and power reserve. Driven by the mechanical self-winding Chopard Calibre 01.08-C, the movement is chronometer certified by the COSC and boasts a stop-seconds function for precise adjustments.
