About Chopard

Chopard is a Swiss-based luxury watch, jewellery and accessories company founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard, from whom the company takes its name. After the death of Louis-Ulysse in 1915, the company was taken over by his son Paul-Louis and grandson Paul-André
By the 1960s Paul-André sold his grandfather’s company to Scheufele family. Now days
the second generation of the Scheufele family, the brothers Karl-Friedrich and Caroline are managing Chopard.
Caroline became the artistic manager of the Haute Joaillerie sector, and Karl took charge of watchmaking, and supervised the production of yet more superb timepieces.
